Have you ever wondered what to eat for beautiful skin? Interestingly, all roads lead to Wild Alaskan Salmon. Period. This is the most valuable food to eat after bitter greens. If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you live in the right locale to enjoy the best, melt-in-your mouth Copper River Salmon. Avoid farm fish! It just won’t give you the benefits of the wild–but will furnish an unhealthy dose of anti-biotics!

Make Wild Alaskan Salmon your fish of choice!

Every book I picked up on nutrition for the skin recommended eating wild salmon from Alaska. In fact, some dermatologists are such fanatics that they eat salmon daily for breakfast. Others write about noticeable improvements to the skin in as little as 48 hours simply by changing the diet and incorporating salmon on a near daily basis.

Folks, it is all about the Omega-3 fatty acids and wild salmon contains a lot of this vital substance important in maintaining good cholesterol levels. You might decide to eat it daily like Madonna to keep your youthful edge, but know that salmon is tremendously benefical for a healthy heart, a healthy brain and flexible joints.

The other rich protein source frequently mentioned are walnuts. Walnuts, shaped like the brain, are wonderful for the skin, heart and brain! Eating as little as a couple ounces a day can dramatically benefit your body. Eating for your skin will benefit your brain as the two are linked during the gestation period.

Think smart and stay beautiful with walnuts!

So on the way to beautifully radiant, youthful skin be sure to increase your intake of cold water fish, particularly salmon, but also mackerel and sardines. One writer suggested that if women knew what a powerful fountain-of-youth sardines are, they would fly off supermarket shelves.

So when you can’t get fish, eat walnuts or almonds both power houses for the healthy diet. In fact, keep nuts in the refrigerator to keep them from going rancid–and snack on a handful daily to cut your risk of heart disease.

So after you drink that quart of green, add in some walnuts and wild salmon–all great foods for vital health!

Eat for vanity’s sake.

You will do wonderful things for your flourishing health!
