Your Flourishing Health

April showers bring May flowers. Thankfully one of my tulips stands tall! Whatever happened to the other four? I found them flat against the ground like a person too weak to get out of bed in the morning!

Now I admit that I didn’t fertilize these beauties! Maybe it’s a miracle one of them stands tall.

Currently, health statistics make our citizens appear like these four tulips with their hanging heads. We are not a particularly flourishing nation when it comes to healthy bodies, even though we spend top dollar for health care!

What to do personally? With my roots deep in librarianship, I set out for my local library to do some research. After twenty-five years as a Noevir leader in the beauty and wellness industry, I started by investigating the latest on how to eat to have the best possible skin. Doors to all kinds of interesting insights about health and nutrition began opening. Also, as a wife and mom who has cooked for 35 years, I’m tired of the same-old, same-old. Time to mix it up and bring out the new foodist in me.

So my goal this month is to

  • Write about what I’m learning
  • Apply it to me
  • Eliminate toxins from my body
  • Increase my energy
  • Drop five pounds as well.

Check in and I’ll keep you posted.
